NinjaOne in IDA: devices and alerts where the work happens
NinjaOne knows which machines exist and what is currently wrong. IDA brings in both: the devices into inventory under the right customer, the open alerts into monitoring - next to the tickets instead of in a second window.
BetaThis integration is built and usable, but has not yet run against a production third-party system - it was written against the vendor’s public interface documentation. Expect some follow-up work on first connection. We would rather say so up front than let you find out.
What IDA reads from NinjaOne
- Devices per customer: name, type, operating system, serial number, last contact, online or offline
- Open alerts with customer reference and severity
- The organisation in NinjaOne as the customer mapping
What IDA does with it
- Devices land under the right customer without manual sorting
- Open alerts appear in the same overview as the other monitoring sources - one list instead of five portals
- An alert becomes a ticket in one click, with device and customer already attached
Who it is for
IT service providers using NinjaOne as their RMM who do not want inventory and incidents kept apart from the ticket system.
Setup: Store the credentials, map organisations to customers - the sync does the rest.
Every integration in IDA has its own switch. Turn it off and it disappears completely - including the columns, filters and reports that belong to it. You only see what you actually use.
Vendor website: NinjaOne. NinjaOne is a trademark of its respective owner; IDA connects to the system technically, which implies no partnership.

Questions about the NinjaOne integration
Does IDA control NinjaOne remotely?
No. The integration reads: devices and alerts come in, scripts and policies stay in NinjaOne.
How does a device reach the right customer?
Through the organisation in NinjaOne, which you map to an IDA customer once. Deliberately not by device name: every customer has a "PC10".
And the alerts?
They appear as another source in the monitoring overview, equal to Checkmk, UniFi, N-able, Server-Eye and PRTG.
