A customer adds ten more Microsoft licences mid-month. The quantity changes in the distributor portal, IDA picks it up at the next reconciliation, raises the contract line and charges the difference pro rata. That produces two separate invoices: one for the pro-rata difference covering the part-period, and the regular subscription invoice with the new quantity in advance.

Which sources do the quantities come from?
Today from Crayon Cloud iQ, ALSO Cloud Marketplace, Tarox, Cloud Factory, Hornetsecurity and a connected WooCommerce shop. They all land on the same contract, so a customer receives one invoice rather than one per vendor.
What happens if we change a line by hand?
It stays as you set it. The reconciliation never overwrites a manual change, it reports the difference - otherwise a nightly job would undo what somebody decided deliberately.
Are mid-month additions billed?
Yes, pro rata from the day of the increase - but only if the current period had already been invoiced. If it has not, the higher quantity simply appears on the next regular invoice.
What happens on cancellation?
The line is set to zero quantity and runs out at the end of the period. It does not disappear retroactively - what was delivered stays billable and traceable.
