Is the signature legally valid?
IDA implements a simple electronic signature (SES) with an unbroken chain of evidence: the document hash proves the signed PDF is the one that was displayed. That is sufficient for many transactions; where a specific written form is required by law, check the requirements for your case.
Can customers fill in fields in the contract?
Yes. Placeholders can be marked as customer-fillable fields (text, select, checkbox); the values entered are recorded at the moment of signing.
Is there a two-factor confirmation?
Optionally, yes. A two-factor code can be required before signing, per contract.
What happens if the customer rejects it?
The recipient can reject with a reason; the contract goes to the rejected state and can be revised and sent again.
