Which fits whom?
When Freshservice fits
Freshservice fits when an internal IT team needs a cloud ITSM quickly, with self-service portal, ITIL processes and AI assistance, and a US vendor with an EU data centre is acceptable.
When IDA is the better choice
IDA fits when you look after customers and bill for the work, want a German vendor with German support and do not want to pay extra for individual features. With the AI assistant you choose: Claude, an OpenAI model or a local model, several at once if you like.
Moving over: Switching: connect mailboxes to IDA, import customers and contracts, read in devices automatically via OCS Inventory or OPSI.

Does IDA have AI features?
Yes, at no extra cost: the AI assistant answers questions about tickets, customers, devices and contracts and suggests replies or quotes that you confirm with a click. In remote support, AI diagnostics checks the machine with PowerShell, every command runs only after your click. IDA also suggests similar solved cases for new tickets. You bring your own AI access (Claude, OpenAI-compatible or your own model).
Is IDA available in English?
The IDA interface and our support are currently German-language.
What does IDA cost?
